Italian Wine Bottle Labels
In the summer of 2023, Megan went on a study abroad trip for six weeks in Italy to study art history. As a final project for the trip, she had to choose something related to what she did or saw on her travels. Being the only graphic designer on the trip, she wanted to design something inspired by Italian culture. While in Venice, she visited a vineyard, and the inspiration struck her to design labels to appear on wine bottles.
Each label is based on a city that Megan traveled to on her trip. She made illustrations based on what she thought was most fitting for each city. She also learned and did research about different wines and what foods they pair well with, so each label is a different wine. The goal was to have the brand be unique and eye-catching and have it stand out against competitors.
